Kink BMX

We just uploaded a commercial we had in Road Fools 17 to our vimeo page.

KC summed up the trip pretty well on The Dagger Zone and posted a few of his own very amateur photographs. I think everyone on the trip would have the same exact thing to say.

“This last month I got to go on a trip of a lifetime. 3 weeks split between the south island of New Zealand, and Melbourne Australia, the 2 places couldnt be anymore different from eachother, New zealand being the most beautiful place ive ever seen ( words cant describe), filled with desolation, green mountains grassfields rivers and lakes, wild deer, sheep, wine fields, seriously breathtaking, and Melbourne being one of the most culturally diverse cities ive been too, densely populated, beautiful people, art, and nightlife. this trip really was best of both worlds in my eyes. and ill never forget my time spent out there”.

I personally can’t thank everyone involved with the trip enough. From the guys that showed us around, drove us and partied with us to the entire family that is the Kink team. Nothing but love for the people that make these kind of trips possible. Another epic Kink trip is behind us and we look forward to the next one (Europe in late spring). Look for a bangin’ Ride UK story and the footage to be popping up within the next few months.

We hit up Sanction BMX the other day and had an awesome backyard barbecue and ramp session. Big thanks to the locals in Albury and the house we hung out at. We have one more day of pedaling the city of Melbourne before we all fly back to the states and rejoin the harsh realities of our everyday lives. We can’t say enough about Melbourne and how much fun we have been having hanging out and being in the city.

We have been posted up in Melbourne, Australia for over a week now hanging out, riding a bit and hitting some bike shops. The weather has been real nice and just about everyone is stoked on the trip. We have a few more days down under until we fly out on Thursday. Tomorrow we will be hitting a shop in Albury and spend the rest of the days riding Melbourne.

New Kink Viridian Hub!

Australia has been really good to us this past weekend.  The whole crew spent the weekend riding and working ourselves into the nightlife.  We are posted up at a cool hostel downtown and pedaling around everyday. There are about 10 days left on the trip, and we have some amazing stories to tell already. Melbourne is crazy!

We were on a TV show called What Now, which is apparently New Zealand’s most popular children’s television show.  Danger boy?

Some amazing days, good dudes, and sweet memories just about sum up our week in New Zealand. The last few days we hit up an amazing trail spot, some fun parks, and Outdoor Sports bike shop. We are doing a TV show in the morning right before we fly to Australia for the next 2 weeks. Stay tuned for Australia updates!
